Description: Creeping species, appreciated for its showy foliage. The dense structure of Phytonia leaves and the color of their veins create a harmonious composition.
Adapted to well-lit environments, it is an excellent choice to be used in winter gardens. The genus name Fittonia was coined by a pair of botanical writers, Elizabeth and Sarah Mary Fitton, who were Irish in the 19th century.
Tips: Do a maintenance pruning during the summer period, removing the tips of the stems to encourage compact growth.
